About
Koh Kradan is probably the most beautiful small island in the marine national park of Hat Chao Mai. It has
very nice sandy beaches and is covered with coconut palmtrees and rubber plantations. The main beach with the
small resorts lays on the eastern sie, but there is a small nice beach without infrastructure in the west too.
The island is ideal for very lazy days on the beach. Snorkeling, kayaking and swimming are excellent and laying
in the shadow of the trees is relaxing and wellness for the soul. Koh Kradan island can be seen from Koh Mook
and Koh Ngai.
Getting there
By boats from Koh Mook or Koh Ngai or even from Pak Meng (Trang). SPCThailand connects Pak Meng, Koh Mook, Koh Ngai and Koh Kradan from November 2023 on. During the rainy season Koh Kradan can not be visited on a regular basis. The day trip boat from Koh Lanta stops at Kradan. Also the tigerlinetravel.com speedboat on its way from Koh Lanta to Koh Lipe and back.
Accommodation
There are seven small resorts on Koh Kradan, from simple wooden huts to luxury bungalows. All, except of one are located on the longest beach at the eastern side of the island. Not all offer restaurants. The Lost Paradise Resort lays in the forest of the northern part of the island, only some minutes walking distance to the beaches. It is also possible to bring the own tent and sleep on the beach. Most people come for a daytrip, so the overnight guests can spend a very lonesome and quiet evening and night on Koh Kradan. Sevenseasresorts is the best and most luxury bungalow resort at the northern beach.
