About
Koh Bulon is a group of four small islands, which are part of a marine national park. The biggest, Koh Bulon Leh, lays 20 Km from the main land and is inhabited. Its a very nice island with sandy beaches and Casuarina trees. The other islands Rang, Maipai and Don are uninhabited, but can be reached by longtail boats for daytrips and snorkeling or relaxing on the beaches. Koh Bulon islands are quiet and tidy places. Only some backpacking travellers arrive from time to time. Its still a hideaway. From Bulon you can visit the other islands around and it is possible to go to Koh Tarutao for an overnight stay. It is also poassible to visit Bulon from Koh Lipe.
Getting there
By boat from Pak Bara, Koh Lanta or Koh Lipe. Bundhayaspeedboat and SPCThailand stop at Koh Bulon on their way to south and north.
Accommodation
The resorts on Bulon Leh offer clean and simple rooms or bungalows and restaurants. The small village on the north coast has a little shop and a nice restaurant.
